From our friends in attendance and straight from Miss Cynthia Lin herself, the feedback from our Bloomfield College screening event was in ultra positive magnitude! We'd like to personally thank the faculty, staff, and students who assisted in putting this college/community activity together - espcially, Gregory Allen, Laura Nova, & Adam Castro. Obviously, big ups to Cynthia Lin for carrying the Q&A portion along with her great singing styles! Thanks guys! CONTINUING ON...
We've recently learned that "That Asian Thing" has been selected to the Chicago Filipino American Film Festival (CFAFF)! WOO HOO!! Not only this, but "That Asian Thing" Director, Jonald Reyes, has recently worked with Chicago hip hop band, Contriband (http://www.myspace.com/contriband) on their first low-budgeted, zombified music video. With this, we've also been notified that the video has reached the finals of the music video competition program at CFAFF!
Mass emails, social networking invitations, and flyer distribution will be sent out in the weeks to come, but here are some quick hit details:
1. "That Asian Thing" Screening is on Saturday, Nov. 8th @ 1 p.m.
2. Contriband - "The Addict" Music Video will be part of the music video portion of the CFAFF program to be held on Friday night.
3. Right now, CFAFF is offering FREE day passes to Students & Seniors. Yup, yup - we said the magic word - "FREE!!" Here's the link to take full advantage of this offer you can't possibly pass up if you apply:

4. This will be the Chicago premiere of "That Asian Thing" which was all filmed in Chicago. It should be for a great showing at the Portage Theater as part of the festival. Thanks to the CFAFF cast and crew for giving us this opportunity!
